Dermaplaning

About the treatment

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning, or epidermal levelling, is a safe and effective treatment that uses a blade to exfoliate your skin and remove fine vellus hair (also known as peach fuzz). With instant results, it's a great pre-event treatment that will leave your skin feeling refreshed and glowing.

Dermaplaning is a safe and painless treatment and doesn't require any downtime. Even if you have sensitive skin, you'll still notice the benefit of smoother, softer skin. The process increases the absorption of active skincare and creates the perfect glowing canvas for make up application.

For best results we recommend a treatment every 4–6 weeks. Dermaplaning results can be further enhanced by adding a chemical peel or rejuvenating peptide mask to your treatment plan.

Your hair will initially grow back blunt ended, but this will quickly soften. Dermaplaning doesn't encourage more hair growth or affect how your hair grows back, although if you have an underlying hormonal imbalance the hair growth may be altered.

Dermaplaning should be avoided if you have active acne, active cold sores, open or broken skin, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, sunburn or are currently taking Roaccutane.
