Profhilo Structura is a quick, minimally invasive treatment. During the 10-minute procedure, a hyaluronic acid-based gel is injected into key areas of the face using a cannula, which minimises bruising and discomfort. The treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production, restoring volume and improving skin elasticity with minimal downtime.

Profhilo® Structura uses a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in your skin. Unlike traditional fillers, it targets the superficial fat layers of the face to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This enhances skin hydration, elasticity, and overall quality, addressing signs of aging like volume loss and sagging. Scientific studies have shown that Profhilo® Structura significantly boosts skin firmness and elasticity, with effects lasting up to six months.

Most clients require an initial course of two treatments, spaced four weeks apart. Depending on your skin's condition and desired results, maintenance treatments may be recommended every 4-6 months.

You may notice an improvement in skin hydration and texture within a few days. More significant results, such as increased firmness and elasticity, typically become visible within four weeks, with continued improvement over the following months.

Profhilo® Structura is generally well-tolerated, with minimal side effects. Some clients may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, which usually subsides within a few hours to a few days.

Profhilo® Structura is not advised if you:

• are pregnant or breastfeeding
• are allergic to hyaluronic acid
• have an active infection on the area of treatment
• have keloid scarring on the area of treatment
• have had any major dental work within three weeks prior to treatment
• are planning a long-haul flight within one week of treatment.

Profhilo® Structura is different from traditional dermal fillers in that it does not add volume to specific areas. Instead, it spreads evenly throughout the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. This results in overall skin improvement, enhancing hydration, elasticity, and firmness, rather than just filling lines or adding volume to targeted areas.

Yes, Profhilo® Structura can be safely combined with other cosmetic treatments such as Botox®, dermal fillers, and skin resurfacing procedures. However, it is recommended to wait at least two weeks before and after your Profhilo® Structura treatment when planning to combine it with other treatments.

PROFHILO® STRUCTURA is a class 3 medical device and must be injected by a medical practitioner or a qualified nurse injector (operating under the supervision of a medical practitioner). PROFHILO® STRUCTURA [4.5% - 22.5 mg (H-HA) + 22.5 mg (L-HA)/1 ml Hyaluronic acid sodium salt and 4.5% - 45 mg (H-HA) + 45 mg (L-HA)/2 ml Hyaluronic acid sodium salt], injection gel in a single use sterile prefilled syringe. It is  indicated for adults of both sexes for corrective / filling action of natural or induced skin depressions.

WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS: Do not use PROFHILO® STRUCTURA in case of known hypersensitivity or allergies to the components of the product. Do not use it in pregnant or breast-feeding women, in patients with autoimmune diseases. Do not inject intravascularly, into the muscles or tendons, or for breast enlargement.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: PROFHILO® STRUCTURA must not be used in conjunction with treatments such as laser resurfacing and medium-deep peeling. Tell your doctor if any side effects concern you.
